Babylon escaped Assyrian rule, and in an alliance with Cyaxares, king of the
Medes and Persians together with the Scythians and Cimmerians, finally destroyed the Assyrian Empire between 612 BC and 605 BC.
Babylon became the capital of the short lived Neo-Babylonian Empire from 609 to 539 BC.

Hegemony is an indirect form of government, and of imperial dominance in which the hegemon (leader state) rules geopolitically subordinate states by the implied means of power, the threat of force, rather than by direct military force.
The Seleucid Empire was a Greek-Macedonian Hellenistic state ruled by the Seleucid dynasty founded by Seleucus I Nicator following the carve-up of the empire created by Alexander the Great following his death.
Seleucus invaded Asia Minor and defeated his rival in the Battle of Corupedium in Lydia, 281 BC. Lysimachus fell in battle.
In addition, Ptolemy had died a few years earlier.
Seleucus was thus now the only living contemporary of Alexander.
Seleucus now held the whole of Alexander's conquests except Egypt and moved to take possession of Macedonia and Thrace.
He had, however, hardly crossed into the Thracian Chersonese when

because SATAN has designed THE FALSE SABBATH to cause EVEN THE VERY ELECT if it were possible to break God's covenant.

The DEFENSE would stress that these dates are NOT TO BE presented AS DATES FOR ANY EVENT TO TRANSPIRE.
These are simply dates that the CURRENT EVIDENCE would APPEAR to identify.
BUT WHAT OF THE 144,000?
God will work in His time. And when it is "God's Time" to fulfill the words of prophecy, will prophecy be fulfilled!
In any case, whenever the 144,000 ARE carried straight to Heaven, the DEFENSE WOULD SUGGEST;
the world should hearken unto the words they SO DESPERATELY ATTEMPTED TO SPEAK to a world THAT COULDN'T HEAR, simply because the "deceived world" WAS SO SURE that it ALREADY HAD THE TRUTH.
AS THE JURY, IT IS NOW UP TO YOU!
The truth is what it is.
Only EACH ONE OF US can ask to have our hearts opened to see truth.
IF the Bible is truth, and the ENTIRE world truly is deceived
(meaning we ALL think we already know truth, and yet do not),
could it be that a deceived world simply DID NOT ACTUALLY KNOW TRUTH to be able to teach us TRUTH?

In any case, whenever the 144,000 ARE carried straight to Heaven, the DEFENSE WOULD SUGGEST;
the world should hearken unto the words they SO DESPERATELY ATTEMPTED TO SPEAK to a world THAT COULDN'T HEAR, simply because the "deceived world" WAS SO SURE that it ALREADY HAD THE TRUTH.
AS THE JURY, IT IS NOW UP TO YOU!
The truth is what it is.
Only EACH ONE OF US can ask to have our hearts opened to see truth.
IF the Bible is truth, and the ENTIRE world truly is deceived
(meaning we ALL think we already know truth, and yet do not),
could it be that a deceived world simply DID NOT ACTUALLY KNOW TRUTH to be able to teach us TRUTH?
IF THE BIBLE IS TRUTH;
- We have learned everything from our understanding of God, to how to tie our shoes within a deceived world.
- What is the fate of those that refuse to question an understanding that is taught by the deceived?
PROVERBS 16
16 How much better [is it] to get wisdom than gold! and to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!
PSALM 119
103 How sweet are thy words unto my taste! [yea, sweeter] than honey to my mouth!
104 Through thy precepts I get understanding: therefore I hate every false way.
4 He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: keep my commandments, and live.
5 Get wisdom, get understanding: forget [it] not; neither decline from the words of my mouth.
6 Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: love her, and she shall keep thee.
7 Wisdom [is] the principal thing; [therefore] get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding.
REVELATION 12
17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Do YOU make war against those that KEEP THE COMMANDMENTS OF GOD?
